Chris has also enjoyed the good fortune of playing with Chicago recording artist such as: Junior
Wells, Koko Taylor, Big Time Sarah, Queen Audry Roy, Larry Burton and Detroit area recording artists: Catfish Hodge, Robert
Penn, and Mad Cat Ruth.
Chris began playing the blues in 1988. Coworkers Joe Saliz & Jeff Maylin (of
the Bad Passion Blues Band), picked Chris up after the violent split up of his rock band Life After Death made him decide to quit playing altogether. Joe & Jeff got Chris playing again by showing him
the blues. Through the blues, Chris felt a new freedom in self-expression and now has no regrets.
Chris is native to
Smiths Creek, MI (west of Port Huron) but has lived most of his adult life in the Metro Detroit Area. Through his blues career
